I signed up there last night and I haven't gotten any e-mail giving me the info for my server. Now when I go to log into xe-host, it comes up with an error.... I wondering if I got scammed.

Has anyone else ever dealt with these guys?

I'm wondering also if they have to set up the server manually and they aren't online. The hours say Mon-Fri 9-5.

Perhaps waiting untill tomorrow will shed some light on it as there opening times are weekdays only

If they are only open during the weekdays honestly I wouldn't go with them. How are you to get support if your site suddenly crashes on a Friday Night at 9:30 ? your site would be down until atleast Mid-Monday Afternoon
