Does Google Adsense Actually Work?

Edit: Info received.

No one is going to post proof of what they earn, it's personal and no business of yours.

Suffice to say that we (cable forum) use adsense and it pays for all our servers and a few competitions as well.

You're free to carry on believing it's a scam if you want, in the meantime, we'll keep using it to finance our site. :D

(since you give nothing to google I'm not sure how you think you can be scammed by it ......)

If your site is going to remain advertisement free for a long time, why do you want us to post proof of our adsense earnings?

you personally think it is scam, and you say you searched a lot on the subject... where did you search ?! on microsoft.com ?!

if ads would be so scam, why people continue to put these on their sites... this is the first question, and if you really think it is scam, you need to see a psy for your ways to evaluate things...

I just put on Google AdSense yesterday... our site is a small, tight-knit 350 member + community. Even so, we're earning plenty of cash (relatively) and have already covered the cost for my hosting the next few months.

I actually came on here today to look for ways to integrate adsense deeper into my forums.

Our costs are moderate at about $1600 a year and adsense took care of a helpful portion with little or no attention paid to it other than a top banner.

AdSense does indeed work. I'm not going to my earnings though - mainly because I believe it's against the AdSense terms of service.

Apparently it isn't anymore, but if mentioned then it must be correct, made up figures are not allowed.

(So I read in another thread recently).
