My first newbie question

I just purchased vBulletin two days ago and I am getting ready to start my online quest. Here is the important question I have regarding one of the things I want to do with my site: Is there a mod or plug-in I could get that creates a reviewer ratings system? I want a user to be able to download a song, write a review, and give it 1-5 stars. As more and more people review, the reviewer's ratings will keep adding up through a tally system that will stay connected near the original song post. There might be 100 posts giving an average reviewer rating of 3 stars for that specific song. Then I could get all the reviews from many different songs and see what song is best based on the reviewer's ratings. This is HUGE if someone can help guide me on how I can accomplish this goal.

Thanks in advance!!!

couldn't you just ask them to use the thread review feature to act as the song review?

Wrestlepower,

Thanks for the response and help. The issue with that approach is just the first poster would give the rating. I need all the successive posts after the 1st post on that specific topic to be able to give their review along with their rating. Is there a voting button I could add onto the Reply to Thread box? Example: I start a post about a song giving my review and rating. I then want 50+ other users to give their reviews, thoughts, and ratings to my song post (I don't want the other users reviewing and rating me as a poster but rather the song I reviewed and rated). I then want the average of all those ratings to be displayed near my 1st post. I hope I am doing a good job explaining what I want to do and hope this is possible.

Thanks,

SOM:)

A hack that is available is GARS (Geek Article Review System).

Thanks Dismounted,

I guess I should check in the hack section for that hack?

Appreciate the help!!!

Thanks SecondV for the help. It sounds pretty good. I must just have to find and pay someone to develop the concept the way I am envisioning it.

Thanks,

SOM:)
