How do I??
Where will I put this
Code:
<link href="/forums/favicon.ico" rel="shortcut icon" /> |
Top of your header template will work fine.
href it to your public_html dir though so its site wide. <link rel="shortcut icon" href="../favicon.ico"> |
<link href="public_html/favicon.ico" rel="shortcut icon" />
like that??!!? |
No, like i did in my post above, the ../ will cd back a dir, might need ../../ which will go back 2 dir's.
|
I posted the code in the header template, but it only shows in the index.php
When I click on topic, I won't see it no more. |
Sorry, i should have clarified that some more, that will show up in all forum pages, if you have other index files for none forum pages, the code will have to be placed in them all.
I just refenced placing it in the public_html dir as a easier place to link it from. Sorry |
It's ok, anyways
Can you see it at this page http://mysticgaming.net because my computer can't view the icon for some odd reason. It work couple minutes ago, now i don't see it. |
Yes, i can see it, it looks to be a black/purplish icon with a white arc'd stripe across it, clear your browser cache and restart it.
However its not showing in the forums. |
I don't think I put one in the forum when i was working on something.
I did clear cache, cookies, etc like 3 times. It won't even show on my other computer. That really weird o_o |
Yes, it's working fine on the home page.
