Subforum confusion
I can't figure out for the life of me how to accomplish this. I can't explain it well so here's some images. Someone please help.
http://s101.photobucket.com/albums/m...t=4895f8c0.png I want it to be like below. this site does it as well. http://s101.photobucket.com/albums/m...t=a89ffab9.png |
As i thought, your site is already doing that or im as confused as you are.
Edit with you domain: http://www.xxxxxxxxxx.org/forumdisplay.php?f=1 You need to click on the main category title, for that sub forum view. Also note: If you dont want the sub-forums showing on the forumhome page, make them a sub-forum of the main category, that will also give you that result. |
Thanks for the help snake I was able to pull it off using GARS. I created a new forumdisplay template for that forum. I just removed the threadslist part of the template.
<!-- threads list --> CODE <!-- ############## END THREADS LIST ############## --> Check the link i pmed you again. |
You didn't need to do it that way, if i understood you correctly, its there by default, you just have to set up the sub-forums correctly.

hmmm ok i'll take another look.

Thats not to say that gars is a bad product. I use it myself... it just was not built for a standard forum display. |
