No, there's no way to avoid it. Even if you did get one through, people could just Right-Click > Block.

I don't think so. There's still many using Exploder and other browsers, so the revenue isn't going away soon. Many use an block to nuke Flash banners and other stuff...

heh... I give my users an option to explicitly turn off advertisements, and I told them about it. Most of them either user an adblocker or haven't turned off the ads. Granted, I don't have a lot of revenue, but I don't run that site for revenue.

Annoying your users will only scare them away.
