Need html to parse in emails, both manual and automated subscriptions.

I recently tried adding a banner ad in emails, only to find that the html doesn't parse at all. Both the link and banner were just links surrounded by raw html which made me want to vomit. So I figured I was doing something wrong so I toyed with settings on vb and my email accounts and nothing worked so I sent an email to Wayne and he said that's not a standard feature of vb. :(

So after searching here I only found one hack that's in the graveyard and doesn't work for automated mail, only manual emails sent by the admin, so that certainly doesn't help. So my shock meter nearly broke because not only was it not compatible with default vbulletin 3.6, but there weren't even any mods for it here.

So I'm formally requesting a hack for this. I can't offer any money, but seeing as this is something that would definitely benefit a lot of vbulletin admins, hopefully the prestige of being the first person to offer a solution to this strange lack of utility from the vb email system will be enough for someone to work on a fix. Your help would be greatly appreciated by myself and by anyone else who has ever tried to insert an image or html into emails sent from their boards.

Thanks :)

Here are a couple of modifications that you can try and adapt to your needs:

Thanks for looking those up but I've seen them all. 3 are the same hack ported to 3 different versions (3.0, 3.5.7, 3.6.x) and the last requires entire emails to be formatted as html rather than allowing a block of html within a normal text email, and does not apply to automated emails. And since I'm not a coder or vb hacker, that's not something I can dig into and know how to tweak to suit my needs. And it's not like this is some weird request that only I have the need for, so I was hoping someone might code something that will work. So don't close the thread just yet, I'm still crossing my fingers :D

But thank you for trying to help. :)

How about this one instead?

Thanks again, but still not what I'm looking for.
