Auto registering with a modified register script

Hello,

Please can someone advise me what our problem could be. Basically I have a wrapper registration system, whereby we get users to register for our site and our script then also registers them with our forum. We add the user to the forum database by just inserting a row to the user table. This seems to work ok and the users are able to login etc. However when I go the admin screen and try and edit the users account details, we are unable to edit or delete the account details. It just shows with blank details...

Can someone advise me what tables need to be updated when adding a new user manually?

If your wrapper is powered by PHP, I recommend you use the User Datamanager. There's a tutorial in the Articles section.
