custom descriptions with username

i was wondering how you enable the custom information on users under their usernames in their posts?

for e.g.

Join Date: Sep 2004
Location: xxxx
Real name: hello george
Posts: 10
Design: Green Hornet

it appears at the top right of each post?

is this also possible under the user's avatar thing on the left?
