Usergroup Change Database Error
Okay, I am obviously running version 3.6.7 PL1 of vBulletin, and there is a major problem in that whenever usergroups are changed, a database error occurs which prevents anything working. It may possibly be because of a modification, but the modification that I think is responsible (Post Edit History) has supposedly been fully uninstalled and no products or plug ins related to it remain.
See attachment for screenshot. This is the full error: Quote:
Does anyone have some kind of database query or action in PHPMyAdmin to remove what's causing the problem? Or a working uninstall script? |
MySQL Error : Unknown column 'edithistorypermissions' in 'field list'
Run this query: alter VBusergroup add edithistorypermissions int(11) not null; |
Thanks for the suggestion. Anyone else got any ways?
|
that didnt work?
|
No, I have not tried it yet. Just very wary of database queries, and also need to know if there is a way to literally get rid of anything Post Edit History related, because I uninstalled and don't want/need anything to do with it any more.

You must remove all the files associated with it. In this case, it should be a bitfield_*.xml file in the /includes/xml/ directory.

Thank you! That seems to have allowed me to save usergroups and the like!
Should I also remove this? Quote:

Yes.
