Paypal & vB 3.6.7 - WHYYY? *cries*

1 Attachment(s)
Hey guys,

I've searched the forums all over the place, and even google and the vb manual on this one, but i'm seriously stuck. I need to know how to set up paypal on my vb.. because this is driving me crazy.

I've followed all the steps and it seems nomatter what I do (after all the correct setup) paypal cant seem to communicate with the IPN of vb.

Could it be that i have to chmod a file to 775? 777?

Here are the screenshots I took below:

is this a hack ?

Looks like the standard paid subscriptions system to me...

Do you have your paypal in sandbox mode?

nexialys 06-30-2007 08:40 PM

first, it seems you have a custom style... revert to the default style and you will start over...

Does your server have cURL installed?

Vinsanity 07-01-2007 02:02 AM

@ nexialys: We modified the default style, mainly just images, no interface tweaks other than like.. google ads and stuff. But it wasn't working before we added the adsense.

@ kall: What do you mean by sand box mode? All I know is, we have a paypal business account and the IPN is activated

@ Loco.M: No, it comes in vBulletin 3.6.7 (and previous versions)

@ Zachery: To be honest, I'm not too sure, is there a way to check? I know when we had Invision Power Board (2.1.x At the time) it natively supported paid subscriptions without the whole 'test communication' like, it was seemless.

Ps. What is cURL?

cURL is a way for PHP to access other webpages.

Oh ok, is there a way for me to check it?

Asking your host would be the easiest way.
