Spam Registrations
 
For the fast 2 months I have received an enormous amount of fake registrations. As a result I required email validation so they are unable to post even though it seems automated. So at any given time I will have dozens of fake users sitting in my "Users awaiting Confirmation" usergroup and are not deleted unless I do it myself. It seems that the IP addresses of all these users are coming from proxys. In addition I have received a tremendous amount of spam email that is coming from my forum's contact page (vb's built in mail system). Suggestions?

Upgrade to the latest versiono VB, turn on everything in the captcha except for the random shapes. Turn on captcha on the contact us page.
