editing template

I bough the aria template and at the top it has the private message and how many users are registered etc.

The minute you navigate into a category, that part is gone.

Editing templates like this is all new to me.

What are the names of the index file and the category file that I need to edit to have that part everywhere.

I'm not sure that made sense.
