Well there are admins of boards that do not own the vb they are on, they just help out the board they are a member of.

They come here for support and mods.

For instance, I have an Admin here who did not by my vb license, I bought it.

Another instance, here is a member who is asking a question:

He obviously does not own a VB license, right ''no mods'' ?

a lot of visitors think that vb.org is the official website, so they register to post a request... that does not mean they are owners ....

and actually that's the same thing on most of the commercial websites where you have forums to chat on... they are not deserved to paid clients only...

I know some people who don't own a license but some how make it here and of course their sites run on vB!

When I regsitered here I wasen't a vBulletin License owner either untill a few days later

I bought 2 licenses, one for each of my sites - support vBulletin if you use it - otherwise you are just slowing down the development of this great product. Besides, it's really cheap when you consider all the features.
