googlebot - calendar or creating event
 

It seems I get the same googlebot the shows up in the location column as either:

creating event or
viewing calendar

Do I need to be concerned about this or handle it in a certain way?

No, it's just Google crawling your website.

If you are on shared hosting you do. My host dreamhost sent me emails saying that googlebot was doing this very thing and it was crashing the entire server. I have a high bandwidth account so I was floored when I found out it was killing my resources by that much.

No offence, but Dreamhost is a bad host...

when you see such element in your Who's Online, most of the time you will also see the icon on the right side of the display that indicate that the visitor see:

Viewing 'No Permission' Message
or
Viewing Error Message
