Register on a non forum page

Hey guys, i have created a site that members play games on and i have been currently using the forum registration system to allow members to join, but i believe that this might be putting new members from joining the site

Is there a way where a person could register into the forum database without using the forum register functions, ie: simply filling in a form on a php page?
