Mass Emailing: Bouncing Members
When I send Mass Emails out to all my members I get about 1000/1500 bounces straight away Out of about 10500 emails sent.
Does anyone know of some sort of script/application that will scan an inbox, extract all the email addresses and then remove them from the email address field in the User table? Thanks in Advance. Edit 1: I just seen this hack. EzBouncer. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=138884 Looks good for managing single users at a time. If there is some way to extract all the 1500 links that bounced back easily it would be sweet. Edit 2: Nevermind. Found a way using this EzBouncer Hack, Textpad, and Macros. :) |

I found this was happening to me and it wasn't because the user's email addresses were actually bad, it was because my hosts mail server put a cap on sending emails out... 500 per hour. So 500 would go through, and I'd get everything else bounced. He excluded my domain from this limit and the problem was resolved. I got VERY few bounces.
