How to upload images?
 

I am trying to upload a banner image to my forums. I am the webmaster but I don't have access to the server folders.

I see that vBulletin's admin has a way to upload avatars, icons and smilies. But I can't find a way to upload images to the images/misc folder. Is this something I need to have the server administrator to do, or is there a way to do this myself without bothering them every time?

Who uploaded all the php scripts? Whoever that person is should be able to give you access (I would think they would want the person working on the site to have access). I can't think of how you can do it via anything in the Admin Panel.

Thanks, that's what I needed to know. If there was a way to do it through the admin I thought it would be easier. But I'll pursue it as you suggest. Thanks again.

I can't be done through the Admincp, the files have to be uploaded into the /images folder on the server and then inported in the acp.

Thanks. I'll have the server administrator do it. She was the one who set up vBulletin on the server.
