S mod Permissions to secondary Admin powers?

Well I'm running a 3.6.7 board and want to know if its possible to have my S mod's gain secondary access to the admin cp. I know how to set up the persmissions and everything but in the Mod CP when you view a members profile you can't edit it, this is the reason why I want my S mods to have secondary admin powers.

The question is how do I make it so they can only change the permissions of a member? When I give them permission in Administrator Permissions --> Can Administer Users and I set it to yes. They're still able to access the Paid subscription area. And when I switch it to no they no longer have access to the Paid Subscription area. Is there a way to edit the Paid subscription area so the S mods can't view it when I give them the "Can Administer Users" permission?

You should be able to do this in the 'Edit access masks'.

no, i doubt he will, as it isnt specifically a forum but an admincp option.

If there is a hack or anything out there that will allow greater control over what admins can and cant see in the cp, i'd be greatly interested in it, as there a few things there that i don't want my other admins to see. At the moment, if i give an admin access to users, they can also see that we have a read PM hack installed and i dont want some of them to be aware of that

Ah right, I see it now.

I thought he had a section in his forum called "Paid subscription".....lol

I see it now in the admin cp.

My wrong, still learning.

Set the usergroup to have ACP access, then edit the admin permissions for each user.

Best thing to do :)

That won't work either as the user permissions are just too broad. You either give them access to users (and thus everything in that category) or you don't, in which case they can't access any of the user editing functions.

There is no other way.
