Set skin as default?

I've been fixing my skins in the past few days that I've owned vBulletin....

Even if I change the settings so that it [default skin created at installation] doesn't display on mainpage, or user selectable, it still takes me back the default page...How do I set a skin to be "default"?

(Hello, I'm new to these .org forums...but not a newbie to Vbulletin.)
