This guy messaged me on msn claiming to be a staff member on here? Is that correct?

He said my forum was breaking one of the vb rules and i had to change it within 48 hours. shouldn't i get an official email about this and not some random guy on msn?

He also said he would hack my forum if didn't abide to the vb rules.

Obviously not, I haven't heard of ANYONE with that name being staff here, because he is not on the staff list. It is possible he is from vBulletin official staff, but the threatening behaviour suggests otherwise. If he was staff, it would be interesting to know what vBulletin.com staff would say about this.

I asked him who reported my site and at first he said he couldn't tell me. Later on in the conversation i asked him again and he told me who.

only vBulletin.com staff might contact you for matters like that.
also, they would never contact you through MSN, you will get an email
and they would never ever threaten to hack your site.
and they would go by the legal name and not some lame nick

btw, he was saying my xxx forum was breaking the rules. The forum had to state that it was for over 18s only and give an option to enter or leave.

I don't think vBulletin cares what your forum is, or the topic. That sounds like rubbish that reason. Secondly, I extremely doubt vBulletin give away who reported a forum, as they sure claim to not tell the reporting party the outcome or progress of the case.

I will say he's either a hacker, a threat writing internet user or someone who may work for vBulletin independantly threatening you. Either ignore him or report him to someone, although I don't who you would report cases like this to.

He said he is a hacker from www.mafiacoders.com. He also said he is going to dos my website, which means take it down.

What should i do?
