Password downloads
 

Is there a mod that lets me password protect my downloads or requires a minimum post count? fed up of these lurkers using my downloads but not posting.

You can require a minimum post count to download attachments by using the built in promotion system....

you can simply apply usergroups to not be able to download, and give that permission to usergroups who you trust...

I believe depending on where you upload you're files too, you can password protect them on the server. I know for a fact that if you are uploading them on you're server, its pretty easy to password protect them, just do it from an FTP client.

But also, if you do that, there is also a password BB code, it basically just adds a image and its like keys, and it says 'Password'. Its a bb code, you can use it like this:

[pw]Im the password![/pw]

Pretty simple. But if you're going to use the posts thing, listen to dyna, use the promotions system.
