site on 2 servers?
 
is it possible to set up my forum on 2 different servers and both upadte at the same time? i have a few dedicated servers around that im not usiing and i want to make my site faster! getting about 20000 hits a day and 1 is starting to drag a lil is this possible? i have linux ,unix and win servers so pls do let me know! thanks

Well, it woudlnt be a problem to have your files on one server, and mysql to be on a different. To have different files on different servers like what I think you are saying would take some serious integration work.

I would say a draw back is if one server goes down, your site will look up and down and confuse people, but it just depends what you do. I have another shared host as a file server (lolz, my former powweb account :p)

geez ok so i came into these solutions! for what i wanted to do i created a "honey pot" its a IT term. so now im having a hard time passing the database over! no bigge the site is still up im just doing some testing before i get it going for real! im using a sql dump for phpmyadmin and trying to upload it with "bigdump" but it just wont work! damn it! oh well! ill keep trying!
