send a private message to new users

Hi,
could you please tell me how to automatically send a customized private message to the new members that have clicked the Activation Link?

Most of my users always do the same questions. I've faq, readme and threads but they continue to ask things like: why I don't see my message (due to the moderation), how to change the avatar and so on :)
