Easy way to switch skin, and still keep template modifications in place?

Well, I really want to switch skins on my forums, but I know a lot of the mods I installed required template modifications. So, is there an easy way to apply all of those previous template modifications to my new template? Or do I just have to go back through all the installed mods and do the template mods over again?

as long as the custom skin has no template modifications, just install it as a child-style underneath your default one that you've set up.
