Censorship list

Anyone know where I can download a list of common words?

I've added common words already, but I'm sure I've missed some.

Also, some of our users seem to frequently forget that many people make a living from our forum. They spend hours searching for ways to bypass censorship. Things like bolding one letter within the word, or putting a letter in italics, etc.

Is there any way to prevent this other than putting EVERY single possibility in the censorship box?

That's should take care of pretty much everything

I always enjoy forums with lame censoring features, preventing you to even type: fileshitlist or penisland

wtf?! I'm sorry - we run a business from our forums. I'm sorry we're trying to keep them clean for our valuable customers.

it's hard to track them all down with 63,000 members.

If we do take action against some members while we don't see others, the ones we catch get all upset.

My point was that the standard censoring feature of vBulletin in inadequate, it's way to easy to get around it. It always is, you will only cripple the normal usage of the forum. And besides that, "foul language" is in the eye of the beholder.
Manual moderation is the only good way to keep a board clean.
