How can i change the length of the Voting Polls box
 
can someone tell me where exactly i have to edit? i know in admincp>styles temps>poll templates

but which template and where exactly in the template?

Turn on the option which posts the template name in your source code. Then, read the source code on the page you wish to change and you should have the template name revealed in the code.
