The truth is, its standard. It isn't anything special and it doesn't stand out against other sites.

I changed it around a bit I dont want anything special because you never see any major sites with anything special so I am trying to keep it simple I am advertising every where about to go to radio and news papers.

1- style is horrible... if you stand for the standard, forget about the dark background...
go to http://www.forumtemplates.com/vbulletin/ to give some inspirations...

2- content is somewhat boring... there is millions of sites talking about forums... what do you plan on making it look different and interesting ?!

Okay, some of what I will say here is what I would have said when you asked for a review before when I was not a member yet and didn't what to raise an original topic from pages back while other parts are about the current state of your forum.

Old criticisms:

Your forum originally was more about web design, correct? But then, in a bizarre twist you deleted all forums related to it, then set some up, then deleted some and now have one for every part. Massive topic changes are generally not popular with members.

New stuff (good and bad):

Good is that your site seems to be doing pretty well from a member count point of view, and I congratulate you on that.

I also like the fact you seem to be an active posting administrator, which is something larger forums generally don't seem to have very often. Keep that up.

Smilies are quite good.

Bad news is that your style feels like it is a mix of about 5 of them put together in a not very well organised way. Seriously, some parts feel like parts of a light coloured skin and some a dark coloured skin, which feels just a little wrong when you look at it.

Far too many ads. You have 5 sets of ads. This feels far too obnoxious. Plus some of them seem too similar to actual forum navigation.

Content seems nothing special, as with many general forums now. I don't understand why so many people go for this subject as it is far too overcrowded anyway, just like the web design forum subject as well.

Post count is unbelievably low compared to member count. It is only 9.2 times the member count, which is just too low.
