Edit thread issue. New threads are instant
On one of my large forums, I have been experiencing a very odd issue. If you post a new thread, it takes .00001 seconds. The server is a beast, and everything works perfect.
If I, or my users make a post, and then hit "EDIT", and edit the post, when we go to save it, it can take upwards of 2 minutes, or it will time out to post the changes. But if I hit "GO ADVANCED" while I'm editing and hit submit, it takes it instantly. What could be causing this glitch? Thanks in advance. |
Now I'm hearing theres an issue with having a % sign in the quick reply box, and a lot of forums are having issus

Have you talked it through with vBulletin Support? I'm guessing it also might be a modification causing delays.

It's a server issue, something with the mod_security (http://www.modsecurity.org),
talk with your hoster. :D |
