How Do I Remove the WHAT'S GOING ON Section of the Forum?

How Do I Remove the WHAT'S GOING ON Section of the Forum? I don't need it and it just clutters up the feel of the site. Can someone please tell me where I can remove the code. I would greatly appreciate it!!
