Host CPU issues displayforum.php
 

my cpu usage spiked to 40 percent according to my host displayforum.php was the culprit any ideas.

I have a custom template my friend designed don't know if that's the issue

link to your site ? Also dont buy what your host puts in front of you, ask him how he came up with the 40% figure

like @enc said, ask for proofs ...

and a template will not bring your serverside down, if it does not contain php codes, it's just html

dont take the ball in your court when you can get your webhost to do all the work. Ask THEM to breakdown HOW they came up with that 40% figure
