Front Page w/ Featured Threads like SitePoint.com
 

Hi,

I was wondering if any of you knew of a mod that could make a forum's front page look like Sitepoint's (http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/) - it is really quite nice how they have a featured threads section etc.

Any ideas?

requires some leg work but there is or was a module for vbadvanced cmps to 'feature' a thread. You would basically use CMPS with featured threads (and some template tweaking) as your index.php file and rename your regular index.php to somehting like forumindex.php. Don't forget the change the name of your index.php file in the admincp or your forums may not work correctly.
