Localhost server DB help
 

I just set up a local server, but have no idea for what to put into the database username and password places in config.php, guidance anyone?

i got xamp... heres a lil screen shot of what you need to do in phpmyadmin ( this is to set up your mysql )

when they ask for the db name in the config.php make it the name you created in PHP
for user name and password use the root
change the usercp connect to 1

You set it yourself when installing MySQL.

I had a crappy installer, just moved to appserv, as easy as can be!
