calendar background based on event ?

Hello,
i was wondering if there is anyway you can change the background of an event, based on the type of event, for example, i want all Car racing related events to be red, and all Basketball related events to be orange, etc, all events go into ONE calendar Sport calendar, any help is appreciated.
