Show posts from X forums next to post count

I don't want to disable the post count in the lounge areas of my site, but I would like the users who post in the tech to be recognized for their help, what I'm thinking is something like the attached image. I would like the count of posts in X forum to be displayed next to their regular post count. This doesn't seem possible when I look at the database structure, but I'm hoping it is. Anyone know how I'd go about making it work?
