Table VB Session full?
I am happy that my forum has grown so much (currently 1 million posts, 20k users, and 1000 people online most of the time except for the weekends).
The problem is, I'm starting to have a recurrent problem, VB displays a database error which mess my template layout, and informs that table vb_session is full. Currently I can solve it by manually (via phpmyadmin) emptying that table, but I'm sure that error shouldn't happen or does it? |
Hi hi :D
in the footer template you deleted this line? Code:
<!-- Do not remove $cronimage or your scheduled tasks will cease to function --> ?what session timeout you use? also check in the control panel->scheduled tasks for the hourly cleanups and view if are checked and operative (for more check about this also make a view in the task logs for that two) in a normal operation the cron, exec the hourly cleanup, this delete the sessions with overtime and the active rows are limited to the concurrent users (or bots) if this fails probably the sessions with overtime are not deleted and the heap table grow up to the memory limit assigned in mysql config. |
