I am php illerate...and installed the active topic hack on my vbulletin at

problem is
1. missing icons
2. deadlink threads which go to
http://www.animeboards.net/forum
instead of
http://www.animeboards.net/forums with an 's' on the end ?

what do i do to fix this ?

also what do i edit to change the display on the page at
http://www.animeboards.net/forums/Active.php3 ?

i still haven't had any luck in fixing the problem. ?

The missing icons are image sources looking for an icon called icon0.gif. This can be fixed by uploading a "blank" or "spacer" (1x1 pixel transparent gif image) as icon0.gif in your vBulletin images directory.
What is happening there is this:
The person posting the topic did not specify an icon for their topic, so the ActiveTopic hack tries to look for icon0.gif, which isn't there (examine PHP code of the hack to see exactly why - oops you said you were PHP illiterate - I'm still in PHP kindergarten :) ).


Not sure about your deadlink threads just yet.

You have the link pointing to /forum/showthreadxxx.

instead of /forums/showthreadxxx.

Could this be something in the way that you have it configured?

that's the problem the active.php3 file did not need any configuring i think - and i can't find a reference to the url in the php code at all ?

Hi,
i got a problem with this script.
I've set it up on my site, and it works well.

I included the active.php script withing a PHP page, and it shows correctly, exept it destroys the code which is below the include line......

I men when I edit the code of the page, I see the active code correctly included, but below this code there is nothing left !! It seems it removes everything and so it ruins the desing of the page.

help please.
