What templates do what?
 
I'm a newbie and curious to know which template does what. For example...what's the difference between Forum Display Template and Forum Home Template and Generic Shell and so on...what do they all do? Some are self explanatory but others are not. Thanks for any help.

For example, this is a Forum Display, and this is the Forum Home. About know what they exactly do, open them and check their code.
