Running vBulletin 3.6.6 on pc using appserve
Im trying to install vBulletin on my pc using appserve.
Everytime I get to step 2 I get this message Quote:
Thank PB |
Have you got a MySQL server setup?
|
Hi, thanks for the reply!
I presumed appserve did this automagically, whoops! How do I go about setting up a msql server Dismounted Also if there is an easier alternative to running vBulletin on my pc I'm willing to try it aswell! |
There's a tutorial in the articles section somewhere, I suggest you find and use that.
|
I have tried that. As far as I seen it only showed how to run vB using PHPTriad. Unfortunatly PHPTriad hasn't been updated and vB requires a more up to date version of PHP to run!

Google it.
If you want an all-in-one solution (which I don't recommend), use WAMP (http://www.wampserver.com/en/). Otherwise, follow tutorials you find on Google (hint: http://www.expertsrt.com/tutorials/M...ll-apache.html). |
