OK I am not a lurker although I never chatt in this open lounge. I am always checking the 3.6 Mods section and PMing back and forth a bit with some of the people on here. But lately this site has been pissing me off. Why? Glad you asked...

I have about... well lets just say too many mods installed and I love paying attention to the updated threads and whatnot but lately it seems that everyone wants to come in and say, "this hack is broken," or my personal favorite, "This hack does not work." Now granted I along with many others are the main testing these hacks receive and often there are issues to be resolved. But then you have mods by certain individuals (PaulM, Cyb, Etc...) which work great and have worked great for some time. Christ there is 28 pages of people saying it works great for them. But then you are the lone person who says it is broken. You know what you freakn idiot you must be right. The hack does not work. Everyone who says it is working great has it wrong and your lone site means it is broken. I am no coder and all the experience I have is installing mods from here and changing them according to my needs but I know if something does not work the problem resides between the back of my chair and the keyboard. NOT THE MOD! I swear FlashChat and Track Guests and Advanced Stats and Mp3 player................................... work fine. I know it. I am using them. AND YES ON 3.6.6! So don't freakn chime in and rip these guys who donate their precious free time with posts about how it is broken. Your site is broken. It does not work for you because in your infinite wisdom cannot figure out how to create an html link. Damnit I am just getting more pissed as I type this.

OK time to go fire someone...

I'm SO tired of the inconsiderate behavior I see so often here. Like just because these little creeps own a vBulletin license, they think they're entitled in some way...that's what pisses ME off, that sense of entitlement...such a crock! I have nothing but respect for the staff, coders, designers, and members here...and I appreciate all the hard work that's put forth here. Sure, some of the egos here are inflated, but mine would be too if I had some of the talents these people have!</i>

i agree, i have had issues with alot of mods here. But on further inspection of every mod that ive installed on various vb installs, it is usually something on my end. I have found a bug from time to time. An example for myself would be the captcha image verification mod, I installed, checked my settings seeing that all that was required was installed and yet it didnt work. It looked like a error that everyone else was having but on closer inspection of the mod code and my settings, i realized that didnt have a setting that it required (jpg support) in my GD libs. Now the creator just said that GD Libs were required and i knew that were installed and working, but not relizing that i had a piece missing of GD made it harder for me to troubleshoot. The point is though, i did find the issue and know how to solve it, but it took some foot work and some paying attention. The point was if 90% of users have the mod installed and working and it doesnt work for you, please pay attention to your setup thru and thru.

Your anger is justified. The attitude of these complainers is just unbelievable. It's like these 1337 programmers are doing US the favor why making these things. It's just the other way around. We should be tremendously grateful that they do this for us. :)

it would be nice if users that are having problems with hack knew how to use the search button ;)

Paxil, Prozac, Xanix , Klonopin, Valium or Thorazine should cure the problem. ;)

So far I have found every mod that I have downloaded here easy to setup and it works. Something I like. Also thanks do the coders for making them so easy to install. I have yet to find a mod that envolves me editing the php files. Most are just upload and then template edits. If only you new the times I have broken an invision power board cause of all the php edits that have to be just write or stuff goes boom. So thanks vb coders for making it easy on us non skilled people.:)
