Folks I have been banging my head trying to figure this out, and its time to call in you guys! Ok here is the problem...

I am losing threads on a daily basis, the forum index may list 50 threads but when you click on the froum it says there are no posts in said forum, yet if you go back to forum index and click the last thread posted from the main index you can see the thread, yet if you go into the forum where that thread is listed it shows an empty forum! Hope that makes sense.

I have run post counts, forum info ect with no effect, so some suggestions would be great!

you may have a automated task clearing the old threads...

we can'T help if you do not tell us everything...

no as in some forums the threads stay but in others they are gone within a day, what else would you need to know??

Are the threads simply not being listed? I mean, do you have the forum "Default View Age" set to Show All Threads or maybe just to Show Threads from the Last Day? (This is set in Admin CP > Forums > select the forum > Default View Age)

no the forum shows and no thread posts ..empty! yes if you go to forum homepage it lists 50 threads and if you click last thread from main page you can view it, but when you go to the specific forum that the thread should be listed in the forum is empty.

OK, but, in your Admin CP, when you go to Forums and click on one of the forum names you are having problem with, what is the option you selected under Default Age View?

your right for some reason some of the forums were set to show threads for last day. Not sure why they reverted to that!! But thanks for the help!...I feel sooo stoooopid now !
