Fixed or Liquid?

Do you prefer fixed or liquid skins?

A Fixed theme has a fixed width on its page container, commonly around 800px.
A Liquid theme uses percentages on width elements, therefore it will fit better to smaller screens. Liquid themes, however, tend to lack some of the pros of fixed themes.

PS: This thread will make a good sticky! :p

Fixed anyday :) Also easier to work with.

That entirely depends on how its designed and coded. Some styles look better with fixed width, some with fluid.

I vote for fluid, as fixed width designs are always limited, while fluid aren't. With fluid design if user thinks design is too wide, he can always resize browser window, but with fixed design user doesn't have any control over content width.

True. Also, width liquid, it's easier to avoid using tables, using div instead. :)

Liquid all the way. I'm completely for allowing users to see content the way they want to see it, resized or not.

Liquid/Fluid. Same thing.
The words basically have the same definition, too.

i actually prefer fixed

Depends on the design. Some styles look better fixed and other fluid. I use both for styles on my board.
