using vbmenu_popup in a div (layer)

how can i use vbmenu_popup in a div?
for example i have a div named (navigation)
when i want to use vbmenu_popup in this div the browser is messing up.here is a screenshot;

and this is the code that brings the vbmenu popup which is also in my navigation div

this is a CSS issue ... the styles for the popups are inherited by it's parent element
