Can someone test my site?

I would like for anybody that has the time to test out my site and see if they can register on my forum.

Its VGPros.com.

Let me know how it goes.

Why are we testing the registration process??? Are you getting reports of errors from users?

Good question. If not, this thread will be removed, under the 'do not post any messages with the SOLE purpose of promoting your forum' rule.

If so, I'm sure someone will be happy to troubleshoot. :)

Oh, sorry if I posted this in the wrong place. I just finished the forum and wanted to make sure people could register, especialy on other browsers than IE.

HMBeaty 05-01-2007 02:27 AM

So why not register a test account (which I see you already have) instead of violating the rules here?

kall 05-01-2007 02:30 AM

Best place for Forum Reviews is the Forum Review Forum. ;)

We don't really provide a facility for 'Registration System Checking'.

Have your users reported that they are unable to Login using non-IE browsers?

A suggestion: It's good practice to use multiple browsers yourself. I caught myself out once, when I had added advertising to my sites. Looked perfect in Firefox, but in IE, nothing was displayed. Yay! No revenue from over 80% of my viewers!

At a minimum, I would say: Firefox, IE and Opera. If you can be bothered, multiple versions of each.

VG Pros 05-01-2007 02:34 AM

I don't have opera but I have checked it on the others. I guess you can go ahead and delete this. Oh and how can you tell if I have registered multiple accounts.

kall 05-01-2007 02:43 AM

Generally, people with multiple accounts show as using the same IP, but I don't know where that question came from.

That was directe at redlinemotorsports sorry.

Well, most admins register another account with the username "test" or "testuser" or somewhere along those lines and I highly doubt that someone else (another registered member) would use the username "test" which you have. ;)
