Occasional problem with style on custom pages
 

I have a bunch of custom pages on our site at www.eclipserecords.com . 99% of the time the page loads fine and there's no problem, however once in a while every now & then it seems like the CSS fails to load or somethign doesn't work with the style. I posted 2 screenshots below, problem.gif is what it looks like when it loads incorrectly, and noproblem.gif is what it should look like (and usually does).

If anyone knows what's going on, why the CSS might not load or what is the issue, I would be very appreciative. Thanks for your help. :)

the only reason why it would not load is because the style file cannot be found .. (I'm assuming you are storing CSS as a file.)

thanks... that's correct Princeton, the CSS file is not included within the html output. It seems to take a while to load the page in the occasional instance that this occurs. Could it be possible the request for the css file is timed out and browser loads page without it? Im using IE7 (i know yuk)

- check html source and get css file url
- check if CSS file exist via the browser's address bar ..
- check if CSS file exist in folder
- test with other browsers (see if you experience the same problem)

It has to be something with internet congestion, or similar, correct?

I doubt its a vb.org problem, as if it was there would be many threads about it posted by other users. Probably ether your internet connection, or proxy if you are using one, or maybe something in your browser is broken.

It's got to be traffic congestion, etc... which makes me feel more comfortable that it's not my code on my site, now i just need to get a T1 here...
