Google adword conversion

I am looking into this "Google adword conversion" business... I have adwords set up and working, but where would be the best place to put this conversion java script? I want to see how many users who click on my adword ad actually complete the registration process.

Has anyone had any experience with this? Any advice would be most appreciated.
