How to change the file path?

Right, this is the situation! I want to add a folder in my root folder called forums and put all my files and folders (admincp and index.php etc) in there without losing my images file path. Ive tried it, but when I go on www.liveppvevents.com/forums/index.php, the skin images are missing!

Styles & Templates > Edit StyleVars > Look at those paths.
