Please help Crazy Problem with Server Bandwidth
I have Hosting with Servage, After a certain amount of Bandwidth Transfer they suspend all the websites hosted with them. And i get error message: Bandwidth Limit Exceeded
The problem is with one of my QUIET websites which only has around 100 visitor a day. However, I have not seen ANY increase in number of Unique visitors. Also, the website only hosts Specialist MP3s which are in ARabic language. Its just Conference Lectures!! not music or anything that most people will find interesting. Servage is totally ignorant in their replies to me, telling me just standard Copy and Paste Messages saying that I am exceeding bandwidth and must get lost.. Even though, I know that it is nothing to do with ME... Can someone please help.. thanks ................ Uniques:................ Transfer: Today 45................170.54 GB Tuesday 109................148.19 GB Monday 136................7.04 GB Sunday 112................1.65 GB Saturday 183................4.80 GB Friday 94 ................4.11 GB Thursday 99................141.75 GB Wednesday 150................12.75 GB Total: 883................320.28 GB |
You really need to check the logs m8 and see where the bandwidth was used, awstats are good for this!

I don't beleive its Servage being totally ignorant in their replies. It's you being ignorant on not knowing what your doing.
|
get another host, maybe a dedicated server.. i don't know many or any shared hosts that would allow mp3's of any kind.
|
If your the owner of the MP3 then its not a problem on any host that i know of?

I said that they are ignorant because they never answered my questions. Instead they copy and paste about Servage not giving more bandwidth.I did not ask for more bandwidth. All I want to know is why my bandwidth usage apparently jumps so high... Servage does not offer any stats software, only very basic page with it. They dont have cpanel. |

this may be cause becoz of some hackers attacking on ur website
|
Probably DDoS or Wget attacks.
Try and find out where it's coming from and block the IP, and report it to their ISP. |
