I noticed this mod at

and the thread is closed so I do not know if it is any good.

What I am looking for is something that allows my users to pick and choose their favorite forums and show only those on the list. Also, when they check for new posts, have it only search their favorite forums and ignore the rest. the same goes for "Advanced Searching". Have it only list forums in their "Favorite List".

Can this be done? Has anybody done it?

did you ask the original coder if something was possible with his old tool ?

The original mod is not a complete solution. It seems to be only a way to not list certain forums but has nothing to do with searching.

I have seen forums with a hack that does this it lets you check certain forums in your user CP and those wont show on the new posts I am looking everywhere for it. :(

Here's one of the hacks I found. I'm sure if you use the search bar above, you could find others. If you don't find exactly what you want, then find a close one and modify it to suit your needs.
