Yes this would be nice to have. I am using the linked one as the one I wanted wasn't around. I also like to add that use the original hack maybe and tweak it to allow reading only.

This is being looked into I asked the original coder and they will get this done when they can it seems, so we just have to be patient.

Excellent idea to keep spammers at a minimum and still allow legit members to ask for help.
